Menu & Shopping Planner Pad (Large)

The large Menu & Shopping Planner Pad comes with twenty-five, 2-sided, 8.5" x 11" sheets per pad.
It's 3-hole punched to fit in RECIPE and/or LIFE.
I'm not a great cook and my kids are picky eaters. Not a great combo, trust me. While reading through this month's Real Simple Magazine, I paid more attention to the recipes and pulled a few that I thought my kids would like and that were less than 30-minutes prep time.
Using the Menu and Shopping Planner Pad, I made a list of what I needed at the grocery store and then turned it over and planned which night to serve which dish (based on after school activity schedules and my carpooling schedule) I went to the grocery store Sunday night with my list and picked up everything I needed for the week. I also wrote in my On The Go Calendar(in the blue shaded section)what was going to be for dinner each night as a reminder. Well, let me tell you. . .
O Knowing what I was going to prepare and having everything at my fingertips was blissful.
O The kids were more tolerable because there were no surprises. They knew what to expect for dinner each night because I reminded them beore they left for school.
O We ate earlier in the evening because I didn't waste time thinking (more like stressing) about what to prepare.
O My kids actually helped me cook dinner some nights which was a lot of fun and peaked their interest in trying a new dish.
Not every recipe was a home run, but we discussed what we liked and didn't like. My kids tried lots of new foods which is always a step in the right direction and we added a few new recipes to our Recipe Organizer.
